About

Tools Suite is a set of interactive visualisers for algorithms. Each tool runs an algorithm on data you choose, records every step, and lets you step through it, scrub back and forth, and read what happened at each point.

Who made it

Built and maintained by abuthahirksm. It exists because the gap between reading that quicksort is O(n log n) and being able to say what the pivot is actually doing is a gap that prose does not close.

Your privacy

Nothing you type ever leaves your browser. The algorithms run entirely on your own machine. The site never sends your input, your results or any identifier anywhere.

Shared links carry their state in the URL itself, which means a link you copy contains the input you were looking at and nothing else. Once a tool has loaded, it needs no network at all and keeps working offline.

Licensing

The site is free to use and will stay free to use. It is not open source. The software and its content are all rights reserved, and are not licensed for copying, redistribution or rehosting. Self-hosting is not offered.

That trade is worth stating plainly rather than being quiet about: an open licence would buy goodwill, and it would also grant exactly the permission needed to clone the work wholesale. Free at the point of use is the commitment that actually matters to the people this is for, and it is untouched by the licensing choice. See the terms of use.
